Protective styling Summer 2012 ! Curls ! Curls ! Curls!

With Spring and Summer in the air humidity is also present. Most of us ladies opt to put the straight styles away until winter. For us natural ladies who like protective styling curly weaves are the perfect option.

Kelly Rowland has been spotted rocking the long curls. In a recent hair magazine she said she is natural and has  leave out wash and go style to blend with the weave.

Just as Kelly transferred to beachy waves Brandy has emerged with a Curly Tracee & Diana Ross-esq Style. I am in L-O-V-E!

So I had to try it out for myself =]

Hair review: Outre Natural Indian Baby Soft Wave

I purchased this hair for $100 2 packs , 1B , 14inch from my local BSS.

It's definitely cheaper online tho. I am not IN LOVE with this hair. But I do like it. I did not experience shedding but I did not attempt to comb it either. After watching YouTube I saw what diasters people had with this hair after washing it or combing it. I followed the directions and only used water on it. 

My install: Sew in, with front leave out

Braid Pattern: Cornrows straight back

Tracks were sewn across from ear to ear and the front track was covered by my leave out.

Closure was used and handmade.

To blend my hair I used Olive Oil Edge control 

 

This hair is perfect for wigs and Quickweaves, not sew-ins. Most people can only get a 2 week run with this hair. It starts out as silky ringlets and gets bigger and more natural looking as time goes on, which is a good thing. I like it best not attached to my head. I would purchase again with the intent to make a wig.
